In March of 2020 I began the series Birdnest using watercolor pencils and pastels, a perfect compliment to the egg drawings. Then COVID hit and I moved my studio to a small room in my home. The collection of bird nests that a Shady Lea Studio neighbor so thoughtfully gifted me went back in their box. Now back at Shady Lea, I am looking forward to adding to this series.
